Allyson Felix

Allyson Michael Felix is the Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting while she was at the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After a few weeks of the first attempt she made her skills, she placed 2nd in the 200m race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to an official career at Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix was presented with her first Olympic award at 2004's Summer Olympics in Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record. She became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007 beating her former Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently at the top of the podium throughout her races in the Olympics held at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
