Aisha Hinds, an American actress who is best well-known for her performances in the tv shows The Shield and True Blood. She has proven her versatility through 2003 when she has delivered outstanding performance on television shows such as 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 1-8-7 as well as Under the Dome. The role she played on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was the first one to draw her interest. The film was her portrayal of Fannie Lou (a woman's advocate for women's rights) within the biography All the Way film that made her famous as an actor. Hind earned praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historic drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson.
